Got this many years ago and it's really powerful. It will offset sheet metal using 90 psi.
Seems to maybe a jig to hold parts for machining. Any ideas for the original use?

Made an English wheel about 12-15 years ago and used it quite a few times.
It's quite heavy, probably 800 to 1000 pounds. Backbone is 6X10 I beam with 1/2 X2 welded into each side of the throat in a W pattern and then plated with 1/8X10 steel. Arms and base are thick wall 6X6 square tube. Wheels...
When my uncle passed away about 40 years ago I "inherited" actually emptied his barn and most went for scrap.
I held onto a few tools, and this is one of them. Checked online and the Model # does not come up.
Motor mount was welded on (sloppy job) later so now idea what the original...
Checked more of the pipe and found the markings (about every 10 ft. I only had 6ft in the shop).
Markings are somewhat unreadable, but from what I see.
4170 1" CTS SDR 9 250 PSI NSF @PU-6ASTM D2737 PE 4710 ending with Made in USA 4330.
Guess I'll have to search plastic pipe specs. Thanks for...
I've got a couple of hundred feet of new water service pipe, but it has no markings for pressure.
It's PE and has a 1/8" wall. 1-1/8 OD and 7/8 ID. I'm building another 36X40 shop and would like to use it for 90# distribution lines.
MY compressor is set at #150 but I immediately reduce it to...
This shaper is in excellent working order but has only one cutter. The cutter is 1/4 inch and seems to be a lathe cutting tool.
Havir 8B Shape-Rite 8" stroke shaper. It does have the rotating vise and the shaper head pivots.it does have a replacement electric motor and is on a shop made stand...
Cobbler, Thanks that's why I asked. The cut in pressure has a separate setting adjustment from the cut-out pressure. Brand of the switch is Hubbell.
Turning the cut-out pressure only affects the cut-in pressure if the second screw is not adjusted.

I just installed a new pressure switch on my IR 4000 compressor. The switch came set for 140# on and 175# off. It has an unloader.
I've got a very small leak in my air lines that I can't find, they run 40ft thru trusses 12 ft up. My main tank when isolated does not leak.
Thinking of reducing the...
I've had this threader for around 18 years and it's just in the back of my shop,
Best I can tell it threads up to 2". It's complete with the motor and drive belt then a machine chain.
Want to get rid of it instead of sending it to a scrap yard. Includes 8 sets of thread cutters. (4 cutters in a...
Talked to the person who told me 400 MFD and he replied the same value. He also said the Mallory "Can Type" condensers
are that value. I'm going to purchase the referenced Klien Multi meter and check what value the Mallory condensers are.
Yes, Vintage look. Ford 427. vintage Mercury valve...
The Grant-Spaulding uses 2 external condensers and two 12V coils. I was informed the condensers are 400MFD and the coils need to be 1.5ohms each. Picture attached. The distributor has two 4-cylinder distributors stacked and each supply's one side. I've got a number of Mallory can type capacitors...
I need to purchase 2 400 MFD condensers for a Grant-Spaulding Ford FE distributor but have no way to measure some I've got.
What reasonably priced multi meter (around $100) will do this?
