Show us your pb swiss tools!

For indents, I would suggest applying resin to fill the holes. Vintage PB Swiss tools are quite hard to find, I'll share more for sure ;)

Show us your pb swiss tools!

I'm using sandpaper 800#, 1000#, 1200#, 1500# and 2000#, then a polish compound with grinder will bring it shiny again ;)

    Spiral Ratchet Screwdrivers

Facom had been producing these until the late 1990s. (or early 2000s ?)

I filled the defect with self-toned resin, then filed and polished it to shape.

    Show off your DOE's!

Facom used to make DOEs for French cars such as Renault. Of course with their own brand. The fonts show different ages. And earlier ones.

Many thanks and I'm flattered.:giggle: Educated and inspired by this forums, it took a while for me to focus on Facom tools. Generally the conditions of vintage tools that I collected are poor, but it it fun to restore them with a fresh look. I'll keep posting thing about this brand, which...

    hacksaws?

Glad you remember that! I don't have any other vintage toolboxes with that size or bigger, but have smaller ones instead, will show them in the corresponding thread. The 'goujonniere' that you mentioned is also a mystery to me  I'm not in Europe, can't speak French either by the way:ROFLMAO:.

    hacksaws?

It could date back to at least the 1950s. In my earliest catalogue (1956) can already find it. This product disappeared in catalogue 1964 when they started using the 'single wing' logo. The exact year? I'll keep tracking ;)

    hacksaws?

It took a long time to collect the catalogues, but it was well worth the wait.

    hacksaws?

Now a rough timeline of Facom hacksaws can be listed. Please excuse me for putting in something non-vintage hacksaws. ;)
