The end of gas power tools in 2024

Wow, finally someone else can see this. I don't claim to know how to fix it but nature tries to get a handle on "us" every minute of every day. A lot of people are making a lot of money because of the "climate crisis". Books, movies, TV shows, speaking engagements, but very few can or will...

Thanks. In for one. Android with dolphin browser. Buttons or prompts can look stacked or crowded in some places for the website. Have to make my fingers really small.

Has anyone had window sash rot on a new-ish window?

If your window stays dry, it will last indefintely. The key is to flash it correctly before it is installed. Tons of info available, just search. Grace Vycor is a good choice, but every layer or step needs the proper technique. Copper sill pans are an optional step that further helps prevent...

Hydraulic cement for piecing in a cinder block?

Is the block below grade? If it's above grade, you may want to use standard mortar if you are planning to use pieces to cover the hole. Standard mortar will give more time to work with it before it sets up.

    Any Lawn Guys??

Lots of fertilizer recommendations there. Quite a lot of people apply fertilizer at a rate that is more than the plant or grass can feasibly use. Unfortunately, large amounts of this unused fertilizer seeps into groundwater resources or runs off into the large bodies of water. Springs and rivers...

Is it bad to post to your own thread

Guess I don't post enough to know but, as I submitted a new thread in "General Tool Discussion", there was a green star in the left hand column and thread title was not in bold type like other new threads. The legend denotes the green star to mean that I replied to my own thread even though it...

Brand new thread not in bold type and with a star. Is it bad to post to your own thread? I did not know that I even did that.
