Get you a very small foam roller. I found one at Lowes that was maybe two inches wide, one inch diameter. It did the trick and was very consistent on the coverage.

You're combination lock will be the weak link. Pretty easy to break into with a par of bolt cutters. Just saying.

I think you want the low profile wrench organizers, not the space savers. FWIW, I have space savers in a 2.5" and they work perfectly from 1/4" to 1-1/2". I think they are awesome and work as designed.

I use electrical tape to mark most of my tools at work. It's not permanent but it does the trick.

Then customer service is correct. The professional tools are made in USA (just not made anymore). The full polish tools that are meant to replace the pros are made in china.

Do the Chinese wrenches say "Professional" or are they just full polish?

When you have wrenches in there they pretty much stay put. I have foam liners (not snappy) and the magnetic rails work perfectly.

Space savers.

I've got them in mine. The wrenches barely clear on the 2.5" drawer so anything shallower won't work.

I've never done this, but I would think you could make a large backing plate to mount on the underside of the sheet metal. This should be sturdy and good for anything other than heavy duty work.
