I was told consumers can't purchase this stuff or the quantities were to large. Chinmey sweeps were the only ones using it and i don't trust any of them around here.

    Chimneys

I may be in the wrong forum but, i was on the roof this weekend and decided to check out the fireplace chimney. Noticed the Mortar Cap was solid but had some cracking in a few places. What can i coat the cap with to seal up the cracks and waterproof the rest. Thanks

can someone give me info on T-111 siding?

I built 2 sheds 16x12, and 16x16 6 months apart. One I used t-11 and the other I used 4x8 sheets of Hardie board. No comparsion, by far Hardie board looks and has held up better than the T-11.

Fun and Games ... PEX and Rodents

A guy at work is having trouble with gophers digging under his house and chewing through his pex lines (around here they use concrete slabs) after the 3rd leak (flood) he had all his piping routed through the attic. Its rather common around here.

    Paint Brushes

I have a couple PURDY 2" paint brushes that i on;ly used with latex paint some time back. Evidently i didn't clean them well enough and they've become a little stiff. Is there anyway to restore them back to a usable state.

    Self Leveling Concrete

I have a low spot (3'x6') in front of my fireplace, has anyone used a self leveling concrete product they would recommend. I have carpet there now so i would need to put the tack strip back down and relay the carpet. Any installation tips would be appreciated. Thanks
