I don't know if bosch sells a p1/r1 bit but their p2r2 bits is pretty good (the titanium coated ones not necessarily the cookie jar offered ones).
Robertson? Eh...you know the drill. Old stock usa might be better for your purposes (dedicated drivers). As far as I know robertson isn't used a...
In store I saw dewalt 1/2" small set 25 bucks (taiwan).
5 piece sae wrench sets with pouch ~2.50 (marked down to 4.50 on tag but ring up this price
I got 2 sets of the wrenches haven't opened them yet wanted to use the pouch for other wrenches and just use the wrenches at home (not much use for...
Power tools probably won't be 100% US unless they're way old stock. I'm not in the wallet range for the high end stuff but I assume there isn't anything at retail that's a power tool that even claims a US origin. Specialty stuff might but probably has non us parts.
Depends on what you do...
Telling customers to stop using cheaters on their bars so they don't have to warranty them. Long form 3/8 don't make no sense to me but 1/2 inch does probably because I usually use impact sockets to break and most of my impact is 1/2.
I wouldn't suggest getting a "complete" set of one brand to tell you the truth.
I agree that it's gonna be around the same quality if it's chinese. Sears is stocking the dewalt stuff at better (clearance) prices, not sure about the warranty but if you want a smaller set it's gonna be a bit...
I got one of those a while back for the 1/4" sockets...before they started selling them for 5 bucks. Never opened it.
Can't say I've ever attempted to use an adjustable wrench on a car...I've used groove joints before though.
"horizon group usa" Never heard of them but stuff exists at places like amazon and sears (other seller). Dunno about the quality or relationship probably some form of knock off. Crescent also sold similar things (don't remember if they had a relationship with xcelite) which is more likely to...
Usually these kobalt precision sets fit in a "slider" pencil case pretty good. Sometimes you can get them for under 50 cents during back to school. Not that that's what I use but still...
Clean?
Hydrogen peroxide then water (not ratcheting) then dry then oiled. Otherwise...don't clean just oil. You could grease but then it's gonna be slippery okay for some stuff though.
I regret recommending kobalt hand tools in the past. Most are good and easily available but "corporate" and store management has an attitude that needs to be buried in the grand canyon and paved over.
"Once" use groove joint and penetrating oil. Should be okay. I mean...if you really want to use a socket you could try fitment to see what's closest in what you got but probably less of a chance of rounding it with a good pair of pliers vs. non direct fitment.
I never knew anyone neurotic enough to check the configuration of a slotted screwdriver (besides "it fits"). Uh...do people do this? Do people say "oh no this is a cabinet screwdriver I can't use it on a different slotted screw"?:dunno:
