This is the Whitney punch I have. I use it all the time for punching sheet metal even though it's rated for 1/4 in 1/4. The looks of these old things are awesome. Even have and old Whitney #40 that's about 75#

Finally got my grandpas old Indian Chief leg vise mounted. Took a while to restore it. Now its time to put it to work.

Some new to me vises that have been left to me by my uncle. Going to get the big one cleaned up and painted. These will definitely add to my assortment of vises , even better the sentimental value of them.

i look at road side trash and make the occational peak in a dumpster or two in certain areas. Yesterday paid off. saw the handle first grabbed it and pulled and out came this nice Wilton. Only thing wrong with it is it is missing one of of the side locking bolts that keeps it from turning.
when i was refurbishing mine i had to repair it on the bottom of the sliding jaw. The part that held it into the track had the casting busted out on it. i went to my local welding supply store and got some cast rod preheated it then tried to weld it. the weld just cracked off so i cut a section...

Great site this is and it has already helped me out. I love to find old equipment and tools to add to my shop after i rebuild them. The older the better i say cause they dont make em like they once did. I have a few projects still going but its a slow process sometimes when you have to...
