I'm in a similar situation with my garage - patched and unpatched holes, etc. in the drywall (1960's home).
I plan to simply cover it with something like LP SmartSide to dress things up a bit.
No. it's not cheap, but it looks nice, is able to handle Wisconsin weather, and will look nice for a...
For larger backer rod, i've had good results with this outfit: https://www.bestmaterials.com/caulk_sealants.aspx?source=adwords&gclid=CN-AqYeisZICFQL1PAodsmGuKw
Don't forget to 'plug' the ends, or the caulk will run out. Ask me how I know...

Maybe this can't be done without a NASA budget, but I'm going to give it a try. I'd like to make an arm that extends 10 feet, with a hinge/pivot near the middle, to support a vacuum and power cord (a la Festool). The 10 meter Festool combo weighs 10 pounds; about 5 meters will be supported, so...
Interesting idea. What led you to choose this?
I'm guessing you painted it (white?) for better light reflection?
I used it (factory painted) for the exterior of my shed (2017) and am very happy with it.
I don't want drywall or OSB and this might be a suitable alternative, although I like...
Correct: the racks stick out too far (> 26"), but the hangers are only about 10". There's room for at least 2 wheels on a stud (wall is 9' high). I didn't say it was gonna be pretty...
I've got summer and winter sets of mounted tires/wheels for two cars and not enough space (is there ever?) in the garage store them as I would like - a pair of wall racks.
The wheels are rotated (sorry) every April and November on both vehicles.
Hauling them up and down to/from the basement has...
I'm planning my mini-split installation (DIY with a Pro evacuating/filling lineset) and am wondering about bending the lineset.
Looking at the eComfort site, the lineset appears to be a pair of tubes enclosed within their own insulation, but it is unclear if they are attached to each other...
Congratulations on getting the system up and going.
I'm thinking of using a mini-split for my workshop and have been following the m/s threads with interest (and occasional amusement) to learn what to look for and what to avoid.
I'm curious about the plywood panel for the air handler unit; is...
CD: Thanks for double-checking my work; I must have fat-fingered something.
I re-ran the program and got the same (12 units) result as you did.
I appreciate the input on the units too.
I'm working on the lighting plan for my 30 x 15 (wood)shop and plan to go with a drop ceiling, so these look like they might be an option:

On the plus side:
They're available at Amazon (I have Prime, so "free" shipping).
I...
Thanks to all for the input and suggestions. I'll pickup a couple of samples to see which works best for me.
I got a kick out of your handle, Two Sheds. Or should I call you Arthur? :)

I'm working on the lighting design for my new 14' x 30' woodshop.
Leaning towards using LED troffers with a drop ceiling that will be 10' high.
I'm trying to decide on the lighting temperature, given I'll be doing staining work and want to make the light as close to natural as the incandescent...
Not sure what kind of 'shop' you're building there, but you may might want to consider putting a few outlets at least 48" above the finished floor. Workbenches and other items on the floor can quickly cover up outlets located close to the floor.
Let me state up front that I'm no expert on the subject; I'm working off my own experience and observations. I'm hopeful a true SME will chime in before I start making purchases.
I had originally intended to use DriCore or Amdry panels as part of my finished floor build-up (I have 3" to...
