Porch is sized for a few chairs and a small end table for a 🍺. And of course to cover entry for when it’s raining. Don’t need anything bigger than that. Patio has all the stuff you mentioned up at the house.

Bracing & truss layout done. South side (left) is out 1/16” on length 😬. North side is 7/8”. For my first pole building I’ll take that 😎 Tomorrow rest of my stone will be spread, 48 tons hauled yesterday. Trusses are scheduled to be set next Wednesday 🎉

New Lift charger showed up UPS today. Swapped it in and lift is back charging. Back to work in the morning ;)

While waiting on lift parts, I spread some more recycled concrete to level the building pad. Got it really close but ran short on material. Time to get hauling a few more loads.

Yes they are laminated & by design they are not nailed the top 2 feet for trimming and fitting to trusses.

Day 4 of construction was today, lift worked great. Only if the charger worked 🤬. Gonna call for a service call tomorrow. Hope it’s something simple.

1/2 day today….heading out for a week with the kids & grandkids on Saturday. Have to get the weeks normal chores done and pack. Skirt boards, Rotbloc installed & holes topped off. Need to regrade some. But first some 🎣 & 🍺 for a week

House does already have fiber service. I will likely move forward with my plan as mentioned above. Fiber & power come from two different locations. So likely 2 trenches. Water is still being thunk on, don’t need it out there & would only be a frost free yard hydrant at corner of shop. I...
