    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Mixed Grill - From London , England - GRIZZMAKES world

All that trim looks like aluminum and stainless, and that can be repaired relatively easily if you're careful. Remove it, tap out the dents, block sand it with increasingly fine grades of sandpaper, then polish it up. A vague writeup... http://www.hotrod.com/howto/3401_stainless_trim_repair/

Help me value a BIG lot of taps

I don't think they are in sets, if anything it looks like some of the boxes are (say) 6-8 of the same tap.

Help me value a BIG lot of taps

I'm helping my mother-in-law sell off some of her late husband's tool stash. Most of the stuff is pretty straightforward to price, but this one has me stumped. Taps. Lots of 'em. There's about 150 taps them here, all shapes and sizes from 4-48 to a monster 1-1/2" 11, plus some extensions and...

Do I need a dedicated welder circuit...

Thanks for the tips! I'll keep those in mind. I've never tripped the breaker (or had the welder shut itself down) so I guess that much is OK. I've got a 75/25 argon/CO2 mix, and I've tried .030 and .023 wire (and the appropriate tip for each) I got the spools from a welding supply shop...

Do I need a dedicated welder circuit...

Didn't think I could blame the tools, but...figured it was worth an ask. Yep, I need to practice more, still haven't gotten the hang of it. Usually I get by with a bunch of spot welds, but I was hoping to do a little better than that.

Do I need a dedicated welder circuit...

...to run my Miller 110V MIG welder? I've been just plugging it in to a random outlet in the garage along with whatever else is on that circuit. The sheetmetal (car project) welds are birdcrappy and no penetration...or I burn right through. Is a dedicated circuit going to help, or is it just...

    Ames horizontal milling machine?

It's listed for $450...sounds like I'll pass and hold out for a vertical. I know there's a guy with an old bridgeport sitting in a shed, maybe I'll try to talk him out of that. Problem is, he thinks his stuff is made of gold, but judging by the condition of the shed, it's probably getting...

    Ames horizontal milling machine?

Any good/bad thing about a horizontal vs vertical mill? Spotted this the other day and was considering picking it up. I have never used a mill before, not sure if I'd be getting in over my head, or buying a white elephant. Good deal, or pass? What's the going $ for something like this?

    Need Wilton vise ID help

I'm trying to ID (and get a ballpark value for) this vise. The ones I've seen pictures of on this site have more of a 'ball' shape where the jaw rides on the screw. This one has more of a cylindrical shape. The jaws are 4" wide, the base swivels, and the jaws move very smoothly. Any ideas...
