I have used Zoeller for the past 20 years. It runs constantly during rain or snow melt. The actual pump have never failed but the switch has on numerous occasions. You can buy just the switch and swap it out. I usually get about two to three years from a switch before it fails and doesn't shut...

Go with at least 28' wide. I had to get a variance and jump through a bunch of hoops just to be able to build a second garage so I was stuck at 24' wide and 32' deep. With my XW/XT four post lift I only have 21inches to the wall from the outside of the posts. An additional two feet on each side...

My boy Judah exactly three weeks after TTO surgery to repair is ACL in his back leg(other side). I feel like I'm ready for my physical therapy degree with all the rehab but he's doing great and already up to three 20 minute walks a day.

I keep my Coleman in the garage when not in use but whenever I've needed it, usually storm related I just put it out in the driveway next to the house unsheltered. Never had an issue in snow or rain.
