My dad had a GE Elec-Trak. It was based on a Wheel Horse chassis. The mower deck had three(?) blades powered by separate high speed motors. Keeping the blades balanced was critical to minimize vibration. The mower deck often cracked.

The first view from the back made me think it was a loading ramp but seeing from the front it was open leads me to think it was a coal bunker.

I also like that Walmart device. I may have to get one.

I have done some mig welding with a vise mounted on an outdoor stainless table. Most of the spatter stuck to the table leaving a rusty mess! It would be better to have a hot rolled plate.
