    The strong arm of tools

Hi bmwrd0, I assume that's an Armstrong extension there, you mind sharing the part number on it? Looks more like a Proto at a glance, I've not seen one of these before.

Walk behind sickle bar mower (jari)

I grew up using one of these every now and then. Ours was probably mid-60s, I remember using it growing up in the 80s and it was pretty old then. Looks really similar to yours tho, almost identical. I will give it credit, that thing could absolutely rip thru a field of locus shoots and...

1st post. Looking for some info on a Kobalt rachet

Pretty sure it is the same thing as a bunch of danaher rats, Allen, kd, Napa, and closely related to Armstrong n Craftsman as well. I have one and it's just okay, nothing to write home about. It's USA at least.

    K Mart Tools

I found some kmart stuff in my dad's tools. I'm pretty sure he had the complete 3/8 drive set but all I have now is a ratchet and extension. Japan made, stamped "Kmart auto"... They are indeed pretty nice quality considering what they are.

QR flex head ratchet - FRLF80 only option?

Funny you mention tekton, they do, and I have what amounts to it (actually a kobalt rebrand of it, exact same tool), and it's what I want this to replace!! It's an older one but it doesn't work for me...not a fan of floppy head, or the backwards selector lever, and would greatly prefer us-made.

QR flex head ratchet - FRLF80 only option?

I want something like a Snapon frlf80, i.e. a flex, pear head, QR, 3/8 ratchet, USA made. Must be all of those things. I have no issue with the snappy, but is there any other option I should consider, that I missed? None of the other usa makers seem to check all of the boxes, just plenty of...

A good Tool as a gift to my husband - for the garage

You're being too charitable. OP is a spammer n you can smell em a mile away. Just trying to get his post count up high enough to post links to some ali-junk. The warm welcome he got was appropriate.

    Diamond Calk Horseshoe Adjustable Wrench

Is there a source for trans green plasti dip for the handles on these?? I have a few old diamond tools n it would be nice to bring them back to their original green glory. But I've never seen green dip. Any hints? Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

    Seeking Small Hex Bit Ratchet

I have the presta cycle thing n I love it, mostly because of the ability to turn it into a t-handle. It's designed as a bike tool and that's a very handy feature in that application. I haven't seen another bit ratchet that does that, so I'm a fan. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

    Can anyone ID this vice?

I'm not a vise expert.... But that great big "5" on the moving jaw suggests import junk. I usually see it on those, don't recall seeing domestic ones with a stamp like that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
