I picked this up this morning for $40 + tax at a pawn shop while looking for a floor jack. It took 58 seconds to run down. Their isn't a date marked on either side of the bottom plate. Is their any other place to look?

The ratchet isn't modified. One of the screwdrivers is sitting on top of it though in the previous pic. All three screwdrivers are also marked not guar., by the way.

I had to do a search myself. I think it's a cold saw. I certainly wouldn't mind having one. I haven't heard of the manufacturer, but he is in Greece.
