bypass motion sensor with 3way switch?

Yes, you are correct. You would need another switch to control the lights not to be controlled by the motion switch.

bypass motion sensor with 3way switch?

Yes that would work. We used to do it all of the time back in the 90’s when it was popular to have dual spot lights on all corners of the house for security. You should use a true SPDT switch with an off position to be code compliant ,but a three way will work if you feed the point(black screw)...

Awesome job on the wire harness. Does the magic soap soften the insulation on the wire? I have a harness from a 78 Jeep that I would like to reuse, but it is stiff almost brittle. Glenn I’ve been following along quietly from the beginning. I have learned a lot from your talents. Thank you...

What new garage door do you recommend?

Find the most reputable installer and go with what he sells. Don’t be afraid to spend a few hundred dollars more for their best door. The pay back on garage doors quickly turns into pennies a day.

    Sheathing a loft stairwell

Masonite without anything behind it for support will probably warp. I know that plywood is quite expensive right now, but you will be happier in the long run. Drywall would be easier. Getting tight fitting joints on a stairwell with plywood is time consuming. Good luck, Brian

    Dehumidifiers???

I have a General Electric in my garage that a friend gave me 25 years ago when he cleared out his mother’s house that still works great. I have found that is much easier to control the humidity in my garage by setting the thermostat at 65 instead of 50. Our garage is well insulated so I...

what wire for 6-wire bathroom fan?

I’ve installed a lot of these fans. I used greenfield as Norcal suggested. Stranded wire is much easier to terminate wires in the small junction box.

    Dryer venting to garage....solutions?

I have a booster fan. Works great. The only problem that I have ever had with it is the tube on the pressure switch froze a few times and it wouldn’t turn the fan off after the dryer shut off.
