the walmart lights are junk, i bought 29 of them, installed them, and in one day lost about 17 of them. they just go out 1 by 1. you can unplug a bad one, let it sit a minute or two, plug it back in and it will come on........then shut off in a few minutes..........junk.

i am also using the contractors pack of phillips bulbs from lowes, but i dont think its the bulbs, why would it come back on in a few minutes after you unplug if then when you replug it go right back out????? sounds to me like the ballast are getting hot and crapping out..........oh and i just...

what was the length of the anchors that came with it? you said the ones he used were 5 1/2" long, if these are longer than the ones that came with it i would think longer would be better.
