    Hydroboost conversion 96 Z71 - help

Why do you need to replace the pump? If the difference is just the extra ****** to hook the return of the hydroboost, you can just "t" into your original return line instead. Might save some money. And if you know what year they came on, try calling around salvage yards and you could probably...

    Hydroboost conversion 96 Z71 - help

It's a great inprovement over the stock vacuum boost. The only thing you should have to change is the length of the pushrod on the back of the hydroboost. This needs to match your existing pushrod length of the vacuum booster or your pedal will be in a different position. You can accomplish...

How's the felt in the drawers looking? Any idea how old the box is? Interested if shipping to Montana doesn't kill it. Thanks

    ID My Grandpa's old Toolbox?

It almost looks like an old Kennedy box. They made automotive boxes besides the standard machinist box with that style of lid system back in the day. In red even. The handles seem a bit odd for Kennedy though.

    OT 1970 Interntational scout

Pirate4x4 is also an excellent source of information but binderplanet or binderbench will get you on the right track for now. I have an IH myself and will find a way to have others I'm sure. Good luck, they are very fun rigs!

    Folding Work Bench

Seeing all of these folding benches has got me motivated. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to fit a light fab table in my one car closet, errr garage with all my other junk in there, but now I know exactly what to do. Thanks for the great ideas fellas, can't wait to finish mine up. Cheers!

    Skid Plate for My Bimmer

Very cool, great work! I have been thinking about skids for my older Audi and this just sparked my interest again, thanks! For the rear bolts sticking down, maybe a button head allen bolt would work. Might be a little easier to deal with in the future too. What does that thing weigh?

    drilling hole in HF "metal"

I say do it. Anything HF should be modified and repurposed to fit your needs without making you think too much about it. HF is great for disposable tools. Just use a sharp bit with some quality cutting fluid and you'll be fine. If you somehow break it, drop 10 bucks for a new one.
