Thanks for the tip! We are going to upgrade to one of the Honda "tracked" models. Have a 7 year old Honda single stage "rubber-blade" 621. Great snowblower but there are times (4+ inches of snow) that it's simple not big enough for our current drive (100'+ 2 to 3 car drive).

Very nice! A goal of mine for our "retirement" home (15+ years down the road....) is a garage like you have set up; 3-car below with living space above. This is by far the nicest example of such an arrangment that I have seen! Thanks for the photo's / details!

From what I recall, just the concrete/finish work runs roughly $4.00 sq/ft. For $5000 with the excavation, I would say you got a great deal!

Go Multi-Coat... I have a single coat (barely) 3 1/2 year old ICI epoxy. Painting contractor applied it as his last job for our new home. They did a great job with prep work, but skimped when it came down to the putting a "full" single coat on the floor. They underestimated how much epoxy it...

Given all you do with the space, I don't think it's all that bad! Looks real clean. Agree that cabinets would enhance the appearance; hit it all.
