I second the battery cover suggestion. Especially under an overlanding vehicle that will see dirt roads. You see full battery boxes in most European vehicles, and a lot of modern vehicles in general for this reason. It also keeps the battery terminals in much better condition. Here in the...
There are crimp connections that have heat shrink over them. 3m makes them I think, undoubtedly tons of of them to be found on amazon. They tend to look better than the standard crimps once shrinked down and offer some protection from moisture.

I ran into a similar problem, needing a hammer drill for just a few holes. I found a dewalt hammer drill for $30 or 40 at a pawn shop.

You need to back the adjuster off otherwise the shoes may be stuck in a groove in the drum. After that, if the drum doesn't come off with a few hits with a 4lb hammer a puller is going to do nothing. You need an air hammer to rattle it loose.

Dielectric grease on the terminals will solve a lot of problems. It coats the terminal so the chemical reaction between the leaking battery acid and oxygen can't happen leading to less or no corrosion. You'll still have a leaky dead battery but atleast you can just replace it without having to...
Wow. How is this not more common info? I don't just jump into a project without research and I never saw mention of this most basic technique.

I did the lines for my 2002 silverado myself. I hadn't heard of the disconnecting the battery trick (what does that do?). Or the making the abs engage trick, so I just got the pedal feel as good as I could bleeding normally and took it to a shop. They charged me around $100 to bleed the whole...
This is surprising. I have the 1/4, 3/8 sets and a full set of metric/SAE shallow/deep 1/2 impact sockets and every one has fit the fastener correctly.

The problem is I have a few different sets and I don't want to go through each case looking for the bit i need. I just want them all out in the open when I open the drawer.

Lee Valley was the only vendor I could find for the boards. They're the ones I contacted about them.
It looks like the reloading cases are going to be the best option. Thanks!
Here are the ones I just ordered...
I've wanted one for awhile and finally went to buy it, and they were out of stock as of today. Emailed them and they said it has been discontinued. They have some of the accessory clips left, but no boards.
Anyone know a similar grid board for hex bits? I have too many bits for the mechanics...
