    Canadian Tire DEALS

Thats basically what I said, but Burgerkong thinks otherwise. Eitherway.. Dewalt or 909 would be a good thing as these are companies that make good cordless tools.

    Canadian Tire DEALS

So the other MAXIMUM branded power tools (outside of the drill and drivers) are made by Bostich?

    Canadian Tire DEALS

Why wouldn't it be made by 909 like the drill/drive and impact driver are? The 909 touch tools do look a lot like dewalts.

    Canadian Tire DEALS

This is how you get your old school warranty honoured. Keep your receipt, box, and manuals, and when you call Mastercraft ask for an RA number!!! If I did not have all three it probably would have been an even bigger pain in the ***. Stuff like this is why I feel Can Tire is going the way of...

    Canadian Tire DEALS

I thought that the new Maximum drills were made by 909?

    Canadian Tire DEALS

I meant that whenever I go into Can tire I'm tending to shy away from Mastercraft branded items or look at them quite skeptically about whether they are any good or not.. I'm there to buy channel lock or dewalt or something else that is on sale.

I just hope Can Tire isn't going the way of Sears/Craftsman... cause it sure seems like it is...

    Canadian Tire DEALS

I bought mine for $39.99, so it does go a little lower. Never seen it under that though.

    Lithium-ion VS NiCad

Really? But Eneloop are NiMH are everyone goes gaga over them for the rechargeable AA/AAA batteries. One of the big selling points is that they do NOT self discharge too much.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I think the Festool drills are more like this than the Metabo one.

    Knockoff Milwaukee batteries

I bought two legit 3.0 xc's for $60 total from jccayer. Crappy customer service but great price .

Difference of quality in cheaper Milwaukee tools

I don't know about Makita brushless tools but the brushed m18 circular saw has always been reviewed as corded power in a cordless package with impressive battery life, and the brushless version is even better. I don't think it would be fair to judge Milwaukee cordless based on Makita cordless.

Ryobi One - opinion of current owners?

As a homeowner I recommend Ryobi due to all the gardening tools they have too. The 18v weedwacker is awesome. There is a leaf blower and several trimmers all well reviewed. This is all on top of the drills/saws etc. Also HD has stupid clearance deals every year on ryobi stuff. I have 2 drills...

    New toy for the workshop!!

I tried to follow this piece of advice but found that I need to raise my blade so that it sticks out 3/4" above whatever I am cutting otherwise the wood chips don't get cleared and no have to push very hard to get to through wood through the saw. So I guess you have to pay attention to how your...

Sears Could Be Gone If Slump Lasts Through Christmas

The sad thing is that the sears catalogue was the greatest retail innovation of its time. When they started the catalogue sales in the late 1800's no one believed in them but they stuck to it and became the fastest growing retailer in north America. Sears was one of the examples used in my...
