I can definately pick a different spot for the vent, its just that if I go right up the wall that obviosuly saves me time/money. And in order to know where to move it, it would be helpul to know the minimum distance, I have seen in different places different values, yet the wording isn't exact...
Champ128, do you know what code exactly it is just so I can look at it? It's not that I do not believe you, I just like being as informed as possible. THanks!
Good afternoon,
I am trying to find (unsucessfully) the distances/code etc. related to the distance needed between a direct vent (concentric vent) furnace and a plumbing vent stack pipe termination through the roof.
My plumbing for my laundry room and attached garage sink run in the same...
Ok, that's what I thought. Now will cutting off and welidng again be OK structurally? Should I take back to same place and hope they do better or take to new shop to fix the mess?
Good morning all!
I have an enclosed trailer that needed a new trailer coupler welded on. This task was something I didn't want the liability of welding on myself at home, after seeing what the trailer shop did, I think I could have done a better job. Take a look at the pictures, should I...
Pattenp,
Just curious, if I do end up going with a disconnect, why is it that you recomend this one compared to others like the one linked below for example. Does this have better/different features? Personal use? etc...
Ok, so lets say I move the compressor location for example so I can see the panel, now no need for the disconnect, but....Are the breakers themselves HP rated?
Does is matter to the breaker, am I thinking to far into this? I went to lowes last night and didnt see markings on any brands...
Good morning all,
I am finally getting around to finishing EMT install in my garage. One of the last items is my Saylor Beall true 5Hp (22FLA) compressor.
I know i need at least #10 THHN and a 30 amp breaker. Since the compressor is on the other side of the garage compared to the panel I...
My Saylor Beall definately has a different setup. The line from the front is the unloader and runs to the check valve on the tank. The intercooler has a relief valve no line connected to the intercooler.
Well I am definately a hug fan of the Saylor Beall, since I got my first one a few months back I have been looking for more, seems as most don't know how great they are....which is why I went and looked at this compressor yesterday, they guy had no info on it just the pics, mainly I just wanted...
No my other does not have "Made in USA", the one I currently own ( I sent pics to Saylor Beall they confirmed it is legit) including most I see on here do not have the "made in USA" unless they are very new.
My current does have SAE fasteners, not sure yet if the possible new one does.
I have a chance to pickup another pump. If it is a Saylor Beall, I would be interested, but I cannot tell for sure. On the crankcase the numbers "4048 R" which is a Saylor PN for the correct crankcase. It looks like a SB. The one thing throwing me off is at the top of the inter cooler there...
