    Dewalt 20v - 18v adapter question.

Looking at buying one as I have an 18v sawsall and drill but only 1 good 18v battery left. Started to buy 20v stuff but don't want to get rid of my 18v sawsall and buy a 20v one. Anyways I would like to know of the adapter is compatable with the 4.0 + batteries? HD's website says the compact...

    Milwaukee M12 Hackzall reviews wanted.

So you are saying I need both hahaha going to get work to supply my blades. The m18 hackzall style one is only 10 bucks more and I already have a couple 4.0 batteries so it's cheaper in the long run, was just wanting something as compact as possible for tight places where I can get a grinder or...

    Milwaukee M12 Hackzall reviews wanted.

Looking for reviews on the M12 hackzall both fuel and non fuel. I don't have any m12 stuff but have a the dual charger and a 2763 impact at work. Thinking the small compact hackzall would work great for cutting rusted out bolts, rubber hosing etc in hard to reach places on the equipment i work...

Real Tool Reviews: HF vs. Snap on vs. Mac vs. Matco breaker bars

ZERO debt for this guy, I pay cash every time, that said I don't own a breaker bar, the 24" 1/2" dr flex ratchet from snap on is one of my favourite tools.

    Sae, what's the point?

Not every one is an automotive mechanic or engine rebuilder, that's the point, I have metric stuff that rarely gets used unless I'm doing something on a newer CAT engine or installing toggle switches for aux lights on our equipment.

    Mac - out of stock?

Anyone know why mac tools website is out of stock on a ton of things, seems half of the tools on their website are out of stock, or limited qty. a few things I ordered through my dealer are back ordered, pliers and a die grinder to be specific.

Tool truck pricing vs online pricing

I agree, I think the tools mostly sell themselves, I keep anlist on my phone of the things I want usually with part numbers via snap on or mac website and website price, I know what I am going on the truck for ahead of time and never really need to be sold on the item.

Tool truck pricing vs online pricing

Would be interesting to see receipts of your discounts, from everything I have read online he is selling you tools below what he is paying for them. It seems most people's discount is about 10% off, anytime I have got a discount which isn't often it's about 10% as well.

    Propane torch question.

I kept a cylinder of mapp pro with ignition head in my service truck for a couple years, never had a problem, it is now in my garage, I have never taken the tip off and there is still gas in there because I use it time to time. Depends on the quality of the torch head and valve I guess.

Ok, tried the 1 1/2" crows foot out on a 1" grade 8 bolt and nut in a vice at work, put my 24" - 1/2" dr SO flex head ratchet on it and couldn't get the crows foot to spread noticeably. Put a torque wrench and socket on the nut and stopped trying to loosen @ 200 ft lbs. Quick end of the day test...

It's in the house right now, it was at my door when I got home yesterday, check back tomorrow evening and I will let you know what I think of them, my biggest concern was spreading, I hope they don't spread very much, at first glance they are THICK, fit and finish isn't snap on quality but for...

    1/2 deep impact socket sets

Depends what you work on I guess, I work on drilling equipment that sees the harshest abuse of any type of equipment or vehicle, combined with harsh Canadian north weather, tons of panels to remove to access hydraulics, electrical etc, panel bolts are generally small but become seized if not...
