best electric heater for 3 car attached?

Issue for me is that I would have to run the 30A 240v circuit to install one of these. Given the cost of gas vs electricity, seems for my purposes to be a better option to go ahead and run the gas line and go with one of the Hot dawg style heaters in the 30-45k BTU range.

Looks pretty good. How much did it run you to have it done by someone else and what kind of warranty did they offer?

What is the BEST epoxy flooring out there?

You can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost (and with better materials than some local options) it you take your time with proper preparation and some patience. Your space sounds like a very doable sized DIY project (my garage was 22x20) and if the slab is in great condition, that's 90%...

Newbie Here: Grinder, Shot Blast or ......?

You'll probably want to try to scrape up what you can with a scraper, but it won't matter much if you're going to roughen everything up with a diamand grinder. Remember, you want it to be rough, not smooth.

    Anybody PAINT a checkerboard floor?

I presume he snapped/drew his lines down and then went over it with one of these (or something similar) set to a shallow depth... http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/tool_detail.asp?productID=10236 Question is, did he then just grout the lines?

    Anybody PAINT a checkerboard floor?

Sweet jeeebus! Having done quite a bit of painting and tile setting, I'd rather just tile it compared to all that taping/painting effort! WOW.

Newbie Here: Grinder, Shot Blast or ......?

Or you could skip about half of what JaguarFan said and just shotblast it and be done with it. Problem for some people is they can't find a shotblaster they can rent locally. There are a few threads around here you can search for on details of national rental places that carry them. You'll...

    Rustoleum or Epoxy Coat???

Where do you live and what will you use it for? Hot tire pick-up or any prolonged exposure to salt in a northern winter will instantly kill that rustoleum stuff.

What is the deal with all the different colors? Are those large areas of spalling?

    ucoat-it?? HELP

I had my wife help with brushing in the stem walls and trim areas, but otherwise, I did everything myself. Definitely could have used a second hand to help keep the magnet broom going during the shot-blasting, but it wasn't too bad as a one-man job all around. Color combo was 6-equal-parts of...

How much and what kind of heat for my garage?

Living in Chicago, have a fully-finished garage workshop. Just finished the epoxy and now I want to spend as much time as possible out there! That being said, in the past winters I have spent $200-300 a year to heat the garage during the cold months (with an oil-filled electric radiator from...

    ucoat-it?? HELP

Comparison of cost: Raw coatings cost for Wolverine Coatings (BondTite primer + LiquaTile + flakes + EnduraShield + Supergrip850) was a little over $2 a sq ft. Including all the repair stuff I needed for a badly damaged floor, it was around $3 a sq ft. Shot blaster was $1.25 a sq ft for me...
