try contacting the customer service via email directly, skip the warranty form thats what I did. I just asked if there was a compatible repair kit and they just offered to warranty it!
Yesterday I picked up this ratchet. Its a Gray Canada 1697, made in 1979. It needs the internals replaced as it's worn from the 46 YEARS of work. I reached out to their customer service and they're sending me out a repair kit no charge. A 46 YEAR OLD TOOL, STILL COVERED BY WARRANTY NO QUESTIONS...
Does anyone have experience with these? I was thinking they would be nice to use instead of hauling my torque wrench out all the time.
Also is Lisle the only one manufacturing these? The price is pretty steep
I decided to put an order in for 3/8 flex head and shallow metric socket set. These are my most used tools right now. Prices for Gray were close to Gearwrench prices on Amazon... PLUS I get 30% off for the next 2 years as an apprentice! 😎
It's great, the only gripe I have is that the wide drawer only has 1 slider :( there's cutouts to install a second slider so that will be my project over the slow season lol
Right now that's what I've done. I have one ProtoXL 3/8" (11.5"), one Tekton 3/8 flex-head (12.5"), Tekton screwdrivers(USA) and one Gearwrench 1/2" 120xp (25"). Other than that everything is Maximum or Mastercraft.
I was told by Mac and Snap-on to contact my local tool truck and they didnt give me any info, maybe I'm having bad luck on the weekend...no one wants to work LMAO cant blame them!
I live in the canadian maritimes, I'm an apprentice AST. I'm trying to start filling my box with quality tools that will last. I've noticed the tool truck customer service *****!
