    Vintage Delta Band Saw?

I have one just like it, its been in the family for 70+ years. It was my father's and my grandfather's before that. I use it at least once a week, never had a problem with it but I do need to re-wire it because it still has the cloth covered wiring.

Spray foam guys have gen for power?

Yes, the spray foam installer that did my house had a large generator the powered the trailer and used the heat from the engine to heat the tanks of resin.

    My new fifty by eighty

Welcome to GJ Pat, sorry for your loss. I enjoyed Walt's posts. I hope when I am his age I will still be willing to take on projects like his. He was an inspiration. Thanks for the info, keep the build going. ~Ron~

40x60 Red Barn Full HVAC Install

Hello, I use the Emerson Sensi touchscreen thermostat in my house, it has a built in humidity display so you won't need a separate gauge to monitor the humidity. Good looking installation keep up the post and pictures. ~Ron~

Buying a scissor lift for my 16' tall shop JLG or Genie

    200 HP electric motor

Remember you have to change the pulley ratio also for this conversion. The standard ratio for this conversion would be 40:1 so your compressor will spin at 72,000 RPM (assuming 1800 RPM motor)

Good aluminum hand trucks? Magliner or near equivalent

I have Magliner from 1990. It gets used almost every day at my shop. We just replaced the wheels and tires (solid Pneumatic) last year. Yes it was expensive but we have got 29 years of uses out of it and its still going strong.

    My Dream Shed Build

Nice start to the build, keep posting as you make progress. I like those retaining wall blocks. I have a hill side that is washing out because I got to steep of sloop on it near my lake. Do you have some info on the supplier so I can see if they are available in Ohio. Thanks Ron

What is the best plasma cutter to get?

As many others said Hypertherm. I have a powermax 1000 I bought new about 12 years ago. It will run on 220v single phase up to 480v 3 phase, but not on 120v. It has always worked good and the consumables are the cheapest per cutting inch.

    Portable or Whole House Generator

Are you ever away from the house in the winter (vacation) when being with out power would cause the house to freeze up? A whole house auto start system would take care of that. It might not be a problem, just something to think about.
