Different ring then the picture but same concept. But I agree the special tool doesn't look like it would work on the signal internal rings. The ones I have used at work we just use a pick or screwdriver.

Could be I had 3 maglights just recenlty all have stuck batteries due to leaking batteries. But they were older batteries and the lights sat around for a while with little use.

I built the same building size and when I quoted attic trusses it added about $4500-$5000. One due to the extra trusses needed and the pitch needed to be different thus causing for more roofing material.

The one thing I learned when bulding my or having it built. Was the extras is what drove a lot of the cost. So depeding on the building depends on what you save DIY. My was 32x60x12 with a 12' lean to and 3 overhead door etc. DIY I would have saved about 6-8K depednign on who I got the...

I gt the same respone on adding attic trusses. You need twice as many and more roofing materail since the pitch is more. Unless you were keeping the pitch the same between with and without. The 5K sounds a little high for the size of the building

From what you said I am thinking that isn't far off. Gravel adds up fast as well as time. I did my pole barn and it was mor ethen expected for ecavation.

I would think it should be do able. Thinks I found out about storage trusses that maybe helpful. The storage truss to have more pitch then non storage trusses. You need more of them to carry a storage load so double. More roof material since the pitch is more. So overall more cost. If...

I am not sure but would it be ok for the insulation to touch the outside wall and have a vapor barrier on the inside wall? I would think the moisture problem would be were the hot and cold meet.
