When you install header for garage doors, (7' h x 9' w) is header placed between post, or is header placed on outside, and inside of posts?:dunno:

When you set the poles for width of building, do you measure outside to outside of 4x4, or do you have to set poles in 11/2" from ea. side to allow for header that supports the trusses. Say for example it is 27' wide by 40' long, would exact measurement be 27' or would it be 26'-9" from outside...
