I have one of these Hanson stud finders and it is by far the best and definitely the cheapest. I is very simple so nothing to go wrong with it.

I know this is an old post but has anyone had a chance to use the folding table yet? I can pick one up for around $225. I don't have a lot of room I thought it would work out great to be able to fold it up and store it until it is needed.
I have the 3/8" and though it was a little short and have not really used it but after seeing that it is pretty close to the same size as the other ratchets i guess i will have to put up my composite harbor freight (lol) to break it back out and try it again. I do like the way it is made but...
Thanks for the great ideas. I don’t mind using jacks and have for a long time for brake and suspension work but I just think it would be nice to get the extra height with the cribs. I would like to have a scissor lift and am looking at them but just too much money right now unless I can find...

I would love to have a lift but at my current house I do not have the head room even for a Maxjax so I have been looking at doing some sort of car cribs to lift the car off of the ground. I normally use Jack stands but I don’t feel real safe under the car with them and would like to get the...
