I've found they are great for demo work, also where having stored tanks is a problem. We can demo large boilers in place without oxy/act tanks which can't be stored in the building. Plus I uses the buildings power so that saves some$$$. In the field or the shop i use them alot, just size it...

If it's new it might not have oil in it

Why not drain the oil then you could lay it down on a trailer or dollys.

So close, got the machine assembled & plugged in, placed on a mobile base from vevor. The base looked good, good reviews but it's getting replaced asap. Some vevor stuff has been great, but this base is just awkward, oversized tubing, wheels placed to far out, like it was AI designed.

I used 3/4" white pvc board & built a raceway & it's easy to remove if I ever need to.

You're expecting a cut made by lowes to be square & true? If you're painting it just caulk the joint first.

I had a ryoble pool vac, works great, never leaked, they do make some one off stuff so it's not bad to have their batteries.

I try to keep like with like, plumbing takes up a lot storage, carpentry same thing and so on. I have found, at least for me it's easier to store tools and equipment by discipline, even if it means doubles or triples of some stuff.
