And double check how they got everything set up before the pour. If you told them 6 and they set up for 3.5 then you still have time to fix the problem.

Do it. I regret letting the contractor talk me out of the attic trusses when I built my shop.

The only reason I see to use rock would be if you also put in a perforated pipe to redirect the water somewhere else. Rock just creates a place for water to pool right up against your foundation.

What do you do when you need to turn the engine hoist with wheels on? Or do you line up and just roll it out and back in?

Don't forget the vapor barrier and insulation too. Don't want that minisplit to get cold!

I think the logic for most people is that they already have a bunch of batteries for a particular system and just need the tool. Why pay for yet another battery when you already have 4 at home?

I think all those calculations assume regular ceiling height. Shops have way more volume.

I just ordered the materials to put up my metal ceiling and R38 insulation. However I'm not sure if the double bubble insulation/condensation barrier that's nailed up to the bottoms of my purlins should be removed before I install the ceiling? My main concern is condensation that will drip down...

I'm about to cover up the walls of my pole barn and was hoping to put in some reinforcement for the future mini split to mount to. Are the indoor unit brackets on most mini split systems sized for 16" OC walls?
