yea, i have an air compressor, but to me, its just dumb to have to turn it on & cycle JUST to lower the lift.
this is the one I think Im going to buy: https://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas-Garage-Pro-9-000
now that I check them out more & more ... the bendpak runways are just too narrow. and unfortunately, that is the only one that does NOT use air. so back to looking at Atlas. They have a; Atlas® Garage Pro 9000 Portable Heavy Duty 9000 as well. Looks good. Anybody have one of these?
Ok I have researched this to death. I know a lot about these lifts at this point. I want a 4 post lift for storage and to do oil changes, and light/easy work on vehicles. Just homeowner stuff.
I have a tundra, so I need a lift that goes higher than normal. So it would need to have about 84”+ of...
Hey guys. Metal pole building is done and I did white metal for the interior walls. The guy who did it said that sometimes the concrete floors aren’t 100% level everywhere in the shop, so he always orders the metal an inch or so short, all the way around. Just so there wouldn’t be any pieces...
Nice outside colors! Good move.
Check sams club website, they have a very similar light. They sell them in 2 packs and are great. Can be linked as well. Real bright.

just get 2 reznor 125k BTU hanging units. one on each side of shop. done deal. these cost about $1300ea. They will work with propane or natural gas. You can get away with 75k BTU actually but the cost difference is so minimal. get the 125k BTUs and you'll be good. Ive got the same setup but...
6" Concrete done. Building all done except for the doors. They were special order and have 1 more week to go. 2" thick doors w/ the poly spray foam inside :)
I think instead of buying a separate heater for this portion, I'll just cut a 9'x9' hole in the wall and let the heat pass through. Screw...
I have virtually the exact same setup. And I'm also in MD. I did a Reznor 125k. Best move I ever made. Most efficient heater on market. And it's compact compared to Modine units. I bought a 100gal propane tank from gas company. They sell me propane for $1.29/gal delivered. I keep mine at the...
Adding onto 40x60 for RV 😊
Yeah the builder said he typically doesn't use the 4ply unless it's taller than 16' walls but I went with them anyways. The cost is negligible. My builder is awesome and they are rolling

Adding onto 40x60 for RV 😊
Construction has begun. I do really appreciate everyone's opinions and advice. I decided to go with 4 ply poles instead of the standard 3ply. Just felt like since it's gonna be 16' tall that it was a good idea. They said it will probably be done this week. These guys...
So multiple contractors that I talked to said they would all use the 3ply laminated poles. This is what was used on my 40x60 so no shock there. But my question is .... this 30x40 is going to have 16' ceiling so its a much taller building. Should there be any 'beefier' items used in the building...
