I have a dual switch stinger which has become a must have. But in terms of a work light, the Knucklehead is my favorite. With the piggyback charger I have used the light all day without running out of light.

It's a Jet from 1981. It has a 10" swing with roughly 20" between centers. It's been a little hard to find info on it.

After deciding that everything looked proper, I wired the motor back up to test the leads with an ammeter. A funny thing happened, the motor seemed to spin at the proper speed. I'm not sure if I was just mistaken originally when I thought the motor was spinning slowly, or if something changed...

I didn't let it run for more than a couple of seconds. It sounds similar to a motor that's starting up, a low constant hum. I was thinking about using an ammeter after I reconnected everything.

I'm almost positive it's wired for low voltage. Currently it's: L1=1&7, L2=2&8, L3=3&9, and 4,5, and 6 are wired together.

There are 9. That's kind of what I was thinking. I believe it is a high leg delta. If it is a dual voltage motor, any ideas on why it's running so slow?

They were all done with a steady bead except for the right hand side of pic #1. I may have stopped and started on that side. I was still trying to figure out settings on the welder there. Pic #2 and #3 are the same weld.

MIG is great. I'd love to learn TIG, but first things first. :D I've learned a lot just from reading here. Including starting with clean material.
