Finally all packed away for winter. It's surprising how many bikes you can stash in a given space, if you slide them together and only use center stands.

Well maybe 10 years:), at which point I may be ready to begin thinning the herd. I try to pace myself for 3 restorations a year. That's 30 more!:D Most of my bikes are either already restored or survivors that just need to be left alone to maintain the best value.

The wall between your living space and garage will or should have 5/8 inch fire rated sheet rock. As for the bikes there is no fuel in any part of them and minimal oil. You can not smell any vapors or odors. No vehicles in a garage or house are covered by a homeowners policy ever. My bikes are...

Here's an idea that I came up with to display in my walk-out basement. I was looking for an original shipping crate for old Honda's to incorporate into the design, but instead used wood from pallets and a vinyl runner stretched over it to catch any drips. Haven't had any drips in 2 years...

Yes the hose was left on as I had been watering trees (70 degrees then down to -17 in 10 hrs). When I went out to remove the hose, I couldn't even turn the valve and ice was hanging off it. Even after thawing the valve it required more heat to get water to flow so I could then drain the line...
