    It sparks when I trip the breaker. No smell just about 4in of sparks. I took the 4 nuts off and got the back to move about 1 inch but could not get the back off, just slide it back. I could not see anything that looked burnt but I really don't know what I am looking at. Reb

    Ok my Quincy QT54 dual stage compressor blew the motor. Sparks fly out the back when I trip the breaker. Do you get the Baldor motor rebuilt or just buy a new one? It is about 4 years old. Reb
