Thanks. That makes sense on the rods. I took "thru the top of each column" as meaning literally installed vertically thru the top which made no sense. i have watched countless videos and have not seen them mentioned. I have the cables and wires run properly on the top channel but the lock cable...

It has small pulley. I have not seen the rods in any of the install videos either.

It is on the top rail where the wire comes out of the microswitch. Also, do you have any idea what those 12" long rods that are threaded on each end are for? There is not pic of the install in the manual. It says this though... "

Continuing my install of a XPR10AS. I have to say the instructions are pretty bad. Anyhow, the small cable that connects the interlocks wants to rub on the cord coming out of the microswitch. I think this was discussed before on this forum but I can't find it. How are you all dealing with this?

I think it is spelled correctly. Stood up the posts today and got the crossbar on. I was stressing about it but they went up easy. They are really stable on their own w/o bolts.

Installing my lift tomorrow. Each JIC fitting on the hydraulic lines have a small crush washer about 3/16" in diameter zip tied to the fitting. Is this supposed to go in the JIC connection? Never seen such a thing.

For an AMGO or Bendpak? It looks like AMGO/Peak is CE certified - which seems to be the same as ALI except the electrical safety is not as strict. Does anyone know if this comparison is true?

If AMGO is correct in that the arms are the same on the two lifts, then it seems the issue would be column failure. Does that ever happen ? For a 10k, you only get another 250 lb per arm which does not seem like a significant upgrade.

I used to have a Mohwak 7000 lb lift and with my 5000 lb tundra on it, the rear arms flexed noticeably and that thing was built like a tank.

I'm in the market for a 2 post lift as a hobbiest I am currently looking at an AMGO OH9 or OH10. ($2,700 versus $3,400). I call ed AMGO and it sounds like the only difference is the thickness of the steel in the columns. They are not ALI certified but claim they have been internally tested to...
