I always thought Milwaukee tools were designed to last decades. I'm shocked that they don't stock parts that fall apart regularly.
If Milwaukee tools are now disposable, why spend the money? Buy Harbor Freight, and toss in the trash when it breaks.
Sad reality for such a storied company.
If you have a Milwaukee 6019 palm sander that has a degraded sanding pad, and Milwaukee told you the pad was discontinued, fear not. You don't have to toss it into the dumpster.
KEEP THE OLD PAD!
Buy a 3 hole pad from Dewalt. DW4388. Fits DW421, D26451, D26453. Home Depot sells it...
I want to get an HVAC setup to do home HVAC work. I have a source for the gasses, so no problem there.
I'm very aware that buying cheap tools always ends up biting you in the ****, but this stuff is expensive.
Is there a middle ground to buying vacuum pumps, scales, torches and the like for a...
I need to pick up a portable oxy-acetylene rig for brazing HVAC copper tubing.
Is it worth the price premium to buy name brand?
And is it safe to buy used, or should I stick with new?
Thanks
I have a bunch of Harbor Freight, rolling toolboxes.
The drawer slides have gummed up, and only move with effort.
What is the best way to relube them? Do I have to clean off the old gook, or can I just lube? I'd rather not empty out four chests.
Thanks'
Anyone have a suggestion on a decent quality, socket set to remove Oxygen sensors from my 2018 Ford F150?
I don't want Chinesium junk, but don't think I need Snap on prices.
Any suggestions?
Anyone know if you can get male and female quick connects for 1/2 inch rubber air hose?
No point spending money on 1/2 inch hose, and using 1/4 or 3/8 connectors.
Thanks.
I need a top box to add to a 56 inch HF rolling chest. Is there a way to buy one on sale, or are you stuck paying MSRP?
If anyone knows, you guys would.
Thanks
I have to rivet a shower door roller to the frame of the door. Including the roller, the thickness is 3/8 of an inch. So, 1.5 times 3/8 is 9/16.
The internal hole through the wheel is 1/8 inch in diameter.
The Rivet tool is a Marson 39000 HP2 gun.
If you are looking at an aluminum rivet that is listed as 1/8 x 3/8, does that mean the final length after crimping between the flanges is 3/8? Or is the length 3/8 before crimping?
If it's the latter, what length would you look for to end up with a 3/8 final length?
I bought a 3/4 when I saw the John Deere Yellow diesel mechanic break free rusty, frozen lugs on my 310 backhoe. I ordered one while he was standing there.
I did have to send it back for a defective trigger assembly, but it was covered under warranty.
