    Grr-ripper vs. Milescraft Grabber.

Another vote for gripper. If the bottom pad gets dirty just wash it and it should stick again. I've had mine for years and never felt the need to clean it because of slipping issues.

Battery Jump Box - NOCO is a no-go

I have been very pleased with the Interstate battery charger. I have the larger jump pack and if I recall it's only $120 in store. Slightly cheaper on Amazon.

Delta pot belly 37-315 jointer restoration

Thanks everyone. We were able to get the starter wired up today and it works flawlessly. I jointer a maple board and works great. I managed to set the blades up perfectly as the finish was super smooth. Very happy. Il get a pic of the jointer complete with starter attached. Not at all. You will...

Delta pot belly 37-315 jointer restoration

I cleaned up the badges but left the patina on them. I think it complements the brushed look of the metal pieces. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Delta pot belly 37-315 jointer restoration

I am 99% done with a delta 37-315 jointer restoration. The starter needs some rewiring other wise it is complete. Pics from the restoration of the jointer. I purchased the jointer a couple hours north of me. I originally had a 6" 37-20 delta jointer with the cast iron base and loved that...

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

Just wanted to post the 99% finished jointer and mobile stand. I just got the new coil in today for the starter switch. Not sure when I'll get the time to get it installed. The jointer works as is with a direct plug into an outlet. A before pic. 7 layers of paint [emoji849]. Sent from my Pixel...

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

Update to the jointer and mobile base. Everything is painted and currently getting assembled back together. The motor needed a new button and will be picking it up tomorrow... hopefully. The knives I ordered over a month ago never came in so I cancelled that order and purchased from a different...

    Track saw questions

The dewalt doesn't fit the other tracks. I have the makita and it is fantastic. The makita, festool, and triton all use the same style if tracks. So if you go the festool route the makita tracks are a cheaper option. The track to cut a ful sheet of plywood is $200+ from toolnut. Sent from...

New table saw owner, what are necessities?

Grippers are awesome. If you can afford one I recommend them highly. Learn that small pieces can be caught between the blade and the fence. If cutting smaller pieces you need to have space larger than the piece between the blade and the fence. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

While not woodworking it is a woodworking tool. Picked up an 8" delta pot belly jointer and redoing it. Big upgrade from my 6" short bed delta jointer. Almost done with cleaning the 6 layers of paint off. I think I will start a dedicated thread in the vintage tool section. Sent from my Pixel 3...
