exmaxima1 I never found the cross pin and I gave up and dropped off the grinder at a repair shop. For $30 dollars they will take a look and tell my what it will cost to fix it. I should know in a couple of weeks and I will let you know what they found. thanks rsh1950 (as in 1950 Ford)

I am new to the forum as of today. The reason for joining is that my friend gave me this Rockwell bench grinder model 1053 (motor is made by Marathon). There is a reason why he gave it to me and this is because someone in his shop dropped it and the shaft must be bent. I am just in the tear down...
