    My Birthday

I want to thank the Garage for their remembrance of my birthday for as long as I have been a member. Of all the forums I belong to you are the only one to remember. Thank you again.

Grasshopper's New Home - "The Hangar"

Great facility and I'm very jealous. Here are my questions. I noticed in some of the earlier pictures that there were a couple of towers in yards. I think I read that you live way up north. Are the towers amateur radio or telelvision reception towers? They look a little too complex for just...

The Viper Pit - Complete w/ Turntable!

You said it right but spelled the last word wrong. It should be "palace" instead of place!!

    My construction begins.

You've got to love that red Georgia soil. Nothing like that up here in New England. The site looks great. Good Luck on the build.

    Unseen tools

On the cover page of the Garage Journal you have a posting about the hex wrench set from Griot's Garage catalog. I'll say this up front. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT ABOUT GRIOTS' OR ANY OTHER CATALOG SALES ENTITY. My comment is about that type of tool. I have many allen and...

    Propaganda

Ryan, Just to let you know that when I went into the Propaganda section and went to check out the Lonestar Round up, I went into one of the performers web sites and was immediately attacked with a virus. I believe it was the first name on the list, but i'm not sure. I will not go back into the...

    Smilies

A small thing and at this point in the new setup probably not very important. The action smilies don't action or even show up. Just the typed description.:headscrat

Would anyone be interested in GJ T-shirts?

I like the logo idea on both the t shirt and a decal / sticker / window cling. The logo on the back is great. Just the name and no picture works well. The front could have the picture with it. I used the same concept on shirts I had done for the cable access channel I direct. There are some...

    Another new guy

WOW :shocking: As I was looking at the photos I started to look at the sheet rock work and realized that the height of your garage is somewhere around 16 plus feet high at the peak. Am I right?? Looking at the construction pictures from the outside you can't really see that until you look...

    Congratulations to Luckdevil

I don't know if any one has thought of this but I think a big round of applause should go out to Luckydevil (Luke) for coming up with this site. There are over 5400 of us Garage Junkies out there enjoying all the good conversation and pictures. From talk about screwdrivers and wrenches to what...

    British Standard

I had a friend that had a couple of early Rolls and a 60's era Bentley. One of the Rolls' was a (I think) '36 Roadster. That had Whitworth nuts and bolts. He had a chassis bolt that held the radiator housing to the chassis and didn't have a wrench for it. I used one of the Sears adjustable...

    SK Lectrolite?

I agree with dink that they look like 60's ish. I have a regular SK set that has 1/4" and 3/8" in it. See pics. This came from my father and he got the set sometime in the mid 60's.

    Funnel Storage

Will Roadster had it right "obsessive compulsive". I'm kinda the same but not really that particular with my funnel. I let it drain into my recycling oil. Then I clean it when I need it again. But everything does have it's place.
