    Base trim options

Thanks. Just need to make sure it won't mess with the spacing on the racedeck.

    Base trim options

I am trying “clean up” my base area on one side of my garage. The right side was easy but the left has low block foundation wider than the wall. I was tempted just to paint it and then glue a qtr round to the block to cover the gap. Or had thought about adding wood base with a 90 degree...

    Race Deck garage door edging

This is what I bought. I’m pretty sure it was from Racdeck but it’s been a while. I glued it to the concrete. It has come loose occasionally, but I just glue it again. It just overlaps slightly.

    Wood garage floor

What about a tile that looks like wood. I did the back area of my garage that is for wood working. Doesn't have your typical wood issues and they are pretty decent looking now.

    Race Deck garage door edging

I ordered a 4" rubber transition piece. It comes in a 12' section. I will post pics once I get it. Only ordered for 1 side and will decide if I am doing it on both sides.

    Race Deck garage door edging

Ran into a small problem when installing my race deck. I have a 2 bay garage with 2 separate doors. 1 door sits 5" back from the other. It was an addition done years ago. I had bought the edging pieces, but I need to cut a tile for one of the doors, and that leaves no way to interlock the...

My vinyl wall stripe experience and how-to tips

I know this is an older thread, but I had a question on installing the vinyl. I just ordered my vinyl. Did you use a soapy water solution while installing to allow some adjustment, or did you do it dry? The garage looks great. Thanks for all the info.

The other costs of a porcelain/ceramic tile floor

Mark Your cost should be pretty close to that. There are many different options that are similar to the ultra flex and each contractor has their favorites. They are latex/fortified and have a "flex" bond. I would look at the different costs. Also, the Mapei rep mentioned the Ultra Flex...

The other costs of a porcelain/ceramic tile floor

If you are using a 12x12 tile over concrete, you would be in good shape with using Mapei's Ultra Flex II. If you want a slightly better bond, you could use their Ultra Flex LFT. It is made for larger tiles, but does also have a slightly better bond. K/K, (for what it's worth), is overkill in...

    Cans or Fluorescents?

I know this older, but had a couple of questions, if you see this and don't mind. Thanks for all the detailed info on this thread. When installing the lights, do they just sit on the 2x2's you installed, or do they need to be attached somehow? On the openings on the drywall, did you put a...

    30x40 Garage/Shop

Great build. Love it, and I am going to steal a few ideas. I was wondering what the depth of the cabinets ended up being? I looked through but didn't see the measurement. Thanks

    Help with buried compressor line

I am planning on mounting my compressor in my shed and then running lines to the garage for the air. I have been looking at the Maxline and like the idea, but I was concerned about not being able to put a drain at the lowest point of the run. I have seen the setups with the black steel pipe...
