I asked my GC buddy about that and his concern was that it could stink at ground level vs up top where no one will smell it. Granted- he's not a plumber!
I just had my building built and I had them rough in plumbing to the concrete just in case I want a bathroom there in the future..
I intend to put a loft over this someday maybe bathroom. What steps would you take to finish off this bathroom before putting the loft in above it if you really...
I have designed a 30x55x16 metal building pictured here. I am wondering two things:
1- What would you recommend for spray foam in Florida on walls and ceilings? (depth and type)
2- After spray foaming it- might I be able to expect a 3 ton mini-split to keep it comfortable? I'm not talking...
Definitely. Unfortunately the building in a box vendors don't seem to offer or include gutters so I guess I'll have to address that myself. Great suggestion tho.
I'm in the process of placing an order very soon for a metal building (30wx50lx16h with an added 15ft wide lean-to for the RV.) that will act as a workshop and a carport for my RV. I have gone back and forth on using tubular steel or i-beam type metal structure.

you are exactly right. I am very leery of this myself. I'm going to try to tuck it in as much as i can. i think they are ugly myself and i actually had a builder who told me it'd bring down my property value if I went metal. He was trying to to sell me a timber build though
absolutely. although i think's id have to do this on the DL. this is a residential area. I'm on over 2 acres though so realistically it should be a problem other than the pesky city inspectors. i might have to roll my own
