Are Craftsman U.S. made? if not why buy them? buy your superb Snap-On Armstrong,Proto, Blue Point. You used to have over 50 Spanner[wrench] makers alone and not that long ago. Chinese looks nice, breaks nice too.
For really rusted in bolts etc. Here in OZ we used to have Break Free The Australian Army used to get it in 4 gal drums I have seen itfor a while I thought it was U.S. made.
I had a look, My 1 1/4 af that I used in the army is 2/3 as thick as theMasters Spanner same size,And I have hit the ****** thing with a sledge great steel
I have never had a broken tool in 42 yrs you blokes must be buying some awful soft spanners/sockets.I have used my stahlwille on D8 tracks on M113A1 Diffs and track bolts The only problem with the sathl and my Gedore is some of the chrome is flaking off.

I think the axemen here in Australia use an oil stone but the old stone wheel to start the sharpening process they use water not oil. You could contact the Australian axemens page.
Hello all, I am trying to replace 4xmetric and 4xA.F combo spanners. I had a look here in Brisbane at Masters Hardware and the new spanners are not a patch on my 36 yr old spanners I had when in the Army
Does anyone know over there who is a major seller of old spanners Stahlwille if possible...
