How do you treat your garage for bugs/pests?

Spiders are very difficult to kill with a pesticide because they do not clean themselves like other insects do. The only way to control spiders is by destroying their webs because this prevents them from reproducing. Each day you have to seek out and destroy the webs.

I have collected too much junk

I am a hoarder, not the found dead under piles of stuff phase yet, but certainly don't have anyone over because the house is a mess. Starting christmas 2011 I started cleaning stuff up. I have cleaned the garage pretty good, my home office except for the really old papers in the filing cabinet...

Is this uncouth? Tool truck dilemma

Buy from the guy that responds, it is your money. When you see him be polite but matter of fact with him. Your tools are your livelyhood. If he can't respond to your needs deal with someone that can. It is his job to earn your business. I deal with salesman all the time at work and tell them no...

    Mounting Gladiator Garage Works

Actually I am putting them over a bench and that 1.5" out from the wall will help to reach into them considering my height/length of arms.

    Mounting Gladiator Garage Works

I snagged 3 of the 30" Gladiator wall mounts yesterday. I am putting them onto concrete block. My plan is to horizontally mount 2 2x4's on the wall using TapCons and then use lag screws with fender washers to mount the cabinets to the 2x4's. Anyway they are sitting in my dining room right now...

    wire placement

The NFPA/NEC is a good start. Most Municipalities use the NEC as law by reference. Most inspectors have never read the thing I would say. I have been thru inspections by Government entities in the past (though not for a house). The main thing is to know the code and establish a relationship.

Those are craftsmen boxes. I have had them since '97 when I got a maintenance job and had to provide my own tools. It was an industrial laundry and I needed a rolling cart. I have since bought the Harbor Freight US General 42" box and chest. You can see it holding up the wood in the background...
