    Rubber assembly lubricant?

Cat has a rubber lube that works well. No idea what it is made of but it is a light green color. After it dries a bit it gets a bit tacky. I do know form first hand experience that it will make a concrete floor slicker than snot.

    Stud Finder Help

I need some help on a stud finder. I am looking at getting one for my dad for Christmas. His current one is getting pretty old and tired. He doesn't use one a lot but when he does, he expects it to work. I am trying to find one that is easy to use. He isn't a contractor but uses it more than the...

    TV in the work shop?

I have a 32 inch mounted on my wall. I love it. I am not doing serious work my garage usually, but if I need to concentrate, I turn it off. It's nice to turn on a game or something to have some noise and to be able to watch from time to time

In search of the perfect winter work glove

I really like KnuckleHead gloves. They are made for oil field work and are very warm. They are a bit bulky but still allow pretty good control of your fingers. Expensive but worth it.

I need a garage door opener

I have a Craftsman in my house that is right around 5 years old. Works great. My parents had Chamberlains in their house for about 23 years until they started to get tired.

    I finally won something!

Well I talked to my Snap On guy about trading but he said he could only do $750 so I decided to pass. My dad was thinking about buying it but ended up buying a jet ski so he had to pass. I went and got it tonight and once I started measuring it, I realized it is 5 inches narrower than my current...

    I finally won something!

The reason I say I have no use for it is because I finally got my garage set up the way I want it and need all the floor space I can get. I have a tool cart sitting unused in my basement. My dad talked like he may buy it from me and use it at work and take is work box home.

    I finally won something!

I wouldn't say I have bad luck but I'm not a lucky person. I'm always just a bit too late for a good deal, never win anything. My dad on the other hand, can win anything he signs up for, always get a smoking deal on whatever he buys. Hopefully his luck win finally rub off on me. Our Snap On...

    7-1/4" Knipex Cobra's $20 @ Menards plus more

I stopped at my store this morning and every hook was empty of Knipex. I was there around 11 so I am guessing they didn't have much to start with.

    Drill Bit Dilemma

I have a bit of a dilemma when it comes to drill bits larger than 3/8ths. Here is the back story. I bought a set of hout drill bits and soon after my 1/2 drill gave up. I have a 3/8 Snap On that I really love. It has good power and is nice and light. I need to come up with something to use for...

    Snapon pocket screwdriver

I had the same one and bent the clip on it. My Snap On guy said "grab another one." I don't know if he was just being nice or what.

Hydraulic hoses for short air hoses?

I have a hydraulic hose that goes from my compressor to my in wall line. It is 4 ft or so and has worked fine for a year or so. The compressor is stationary so the rigidity of the hose is no issue to me. Hydraulic hose is no where near as flexible as hair hose. I work at a place that builds...

Recommendations for the best ORANGE Disposable Nitrile Gloves

http://www.ammex.com/AMMEX_Gloveworks_Nitrile_Gloves_p/gwon.htm That is what we wear at work and I have a box for my personal use. Very heavy duty and have a rough texture to help get ahold of things. They don't tear like the lighter duty ones.
