    Help on an old light

Picked up one of these shades at a tag sale yesterday and would like to get it working for the garage. Did a search on here and saw a few things, but didn't know if anyone had a quick and easy way to get a regular bulb in these and get em hung. Thanks Scott

    Stall Mats

Thanks! They are more bulky than heavy especially if you're moving them yourself! A trick to cut them is to score them once with a utility knife and then use a hacksaw to saw three or four inches through the mat, then use the utility knife and they cut like butter!

    Stall Mats

Got the Stall Mats down today. I did the whole garage (well enclosed carport - my simple garage as it is.) They worked out great and don't look half bad!! Thanks for all the input and thanks Tractor Supply!

    Stall Mats

Did some research on here and am thinking of purchasing these for my garage floor. Was wondering if when people have used them they put poly down under them or just put them on the floor? Any input would be greatly appreciated

My little 18x20 Carport - Update

Shouldn't be too hard, I think you could use spray on stuff. In the summer it gets real hot in there so I have a couple of fans going which cools it down. You could probably throw a cheap heater in there in the winter rather than insulate.

My little 18x20 Carport - Update

Here's a picture of the doors when they're closed. I built them out of the same material I used for the sides and bought the sliding door hardware from a local Tractor Supply store.

My little 18x20 Carport - Update

Started out a couple of years ago with just a carport attached to my house. Decided I needed some storage for my old Buick (which I've since sold) so I decided on a limited budget to enclose the carport and make a pseudo garage. I've done a lot of work and though it pales in comparison to some...

Looking for some advice on condensation

Gary, Any suggestions on what to insulate it with? I'm very new to all this and am not sure what to use as insulation.

Looking for some advice on condensation

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right thread. I recently enclosed my carport and put doors on it. This past weekend we got quite a bit of snow up here in New York state and I cleaned all the snow off the roof but noticed there's still quite a bit of condensation inside the roof of the carport...

    My little 18x20 Carport..

The doors are finally up! Took a lot of work, but thanks to a good friend who gave me a hand the bypassing doors are up and working great! Total cost for enclosing the carport (which was already there) and putting doors on $1650.00 and a LOT of labor! Now I basically have an 18x20 garage where...

    Looking for some help

I am attaching a couple of pictures and am looking for ideas on finishing this area with concrete to extend the current pad I have. The total length is 4ftx18ft. I have absolutely no experience in doing this type of work and am looking for some input from people on here as to the best way to...

    Concrete crack help

Just curious if Sikaflex would work on this? Also is it safe to use Sikaflex between concrete and metal to fill cracks? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Concrete crack help

Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. We had quite a bit of rain last night and I've got some water on the floor. (see pictures) Noticed a rather large crack in the pad and am thinking that the water might be coming in there. What's the best product to use to repair cracks...
