I’m interested in your garage but it appears all the links to the images are broken. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Pocket hose "As seen on TV"

We have a couple of these and they are still working OK. We had one of the valves break but you can toss that part. We use them to water the flower beds on our acreage. We bought two at bath and beyond and the rest from Regal.

Above 1200 Sq/FT So I don't Have a Title but here we go

I heard that the Gimli area had snow last week. I don't know if you did. When we built my shop we decided to get the in floor heating going when it was around -25C. I had decided to have cellulose insulation and I needed heat for the contractors. The water froze in the floor, the insulators...

44x48x16 shop, poolhouse, bball court Garage

Speaking about insulation. I did my garage/man cave with blown in cellulose and it is more comfortable than our house. Living where I do the winters can be quite cold. Last winter my in floor how water heat was shut off for about 36 hours. The temperature outside was around 0F and the building...

    The "pedestrian" garage

Today I signed onto the site after a few months of being to busy to look. I ended up on this thread and spent the whole night reading it. You garage is incredible. Your attention to detail, your skills, and your talents are obvious everywhere. Wow, what a space you are creating. Thank you for...

Where is the CO2 tank for your kegerator. In a few days I will finally get to posting some pictures of my garage but I still need to build my Keezer. Very nice. Albert

    New 32 x 24 garage/office

What is the radiant barrier for. You have a bunch of insulation, at least it appears to be more than 6 or 7 inches. Also wanted to let you know that I became jealous of your build when the second story went on. I was restricted to 17' total height. Albert

    Best place for infloor heat

I bought all my stuff from a local plumbing supply store. I don't know about your climate nor your garage. What I did was make a heat loss calculation to get the BTU number and then installed 1,000 feet of pex in my slab. I did 4 loops of 250' each. I bought a small pressure tank, a pump, a...

    Thanks to y'all.

That is one cool looking 16 x 24 building. How much is that drop at the back. It looks like you needed a lot of fill.

    OSB painting again

I used kiltz, two coats, the first one real light as the black writing would bleed thru. I then painted the walls and they turned out great. This is on my car garage. On my workshop I went with drywall.

8 foot walls vs 9 ft

When I built my 25x42' garage I changed the plan from 9' to 10'. The cost difference for the framing, sheathing and siding was $400.00. I am not sure what the 9' door cost vs the original 8' door but since the door is super insulated it might not matter for your project. Drywall comes in 8,9...

    Northern Garage build

Today we finished painting the walls. On Saturday we had the ceiling textured. Tomorrow we are going to start on the floor. Next weekend we will add a red stripe to the walls. We picked red tool box color. I don't actually own a red tool box but I like the color.

Painting OSB walls, what to use

If you use Kiltz then I would suggest you go really light on the first coat. If you put the paint on thick then the ink will bleed thru.

Separate Air Tank To Hold Desiccant

I sell air compressors with desiccant dryers. A couple of years ago I had a competitors dryer apart and they used green scotch brite pads as a filter. The compressors I sell have a sintered bronze filter to hold the beads back. Make sure the beads are well packed or they will rattle themselves...

    Architect in Toronto wanted

I had a local lumber yard draw up my garage and design the trusses. The county approved the drawings. Since my building was over a set size I did need an engineers stamp on the foundation.
