I don't want a more open cover. I was think along the lines of some sort of larger cover that has more surface area to catch debris before it gets to the drain. Something that I can place over the original cover that's much larger
I've got this drain cover that keeps getting clogged which cause large puddling. Debris from my yard and the neighbors yard washes down and clogs the cover. I think I need some type of larger cover that has more surface area to keep the drain cover from getting clogged. Any ideas? I was...
Sorry, no updates yet. I was out of town. I still want to pull the flywheel just to make sure that key is ok but my puller is too small and I haven't had a change to borrow a larger one.
ok, They exhaust valve was loose. I reset the valves to .15 and .20 and when I turned the motor over to re inspect they were loose again. Why would this be happening? The locking nuts are both still tight. I also wasn't able to get the flywheel of to make sure the key wasn't the culprit. I...
I'm going to check the valves soon. I haven't had time to get into the garage the past few days. I did find a few videos showing how to find TDC and valve clearances for people who may have this problem in the future. I also found a video showing a defective cam pulley. I posted them below.
Ok, I tried to start with water on and the trigger pressed. Water shoots slowly though the wand like usual. When I try to pull the engine kicks hard. I removed the cover and it seems the flywheel woodruff key intact. I don't understand the exhaust valve settings, can someone shed some light...
I've got a honda 4 stroke pressure washer and the last time I used it I ran out of gas. I put it away and the next time I tried to fire it up the damn thing almost took my hand off while I was pull starting it. I took the plug out and it pulls smoothly. I put the plug back in and try to fire...
Ok I'm still having trouble with this thing. I looked over the area where the bag connects and I see nothing. I did however find a safety switch on the vacuum area of the machine. I plugged it but it still won't start. Here's a photo of the actual machine. Anyone recognize this?

I don't have the bag attached. Maybe that my problem. I just wanted to make sure it ran so when I need it I can use it. I'll hook up the bag and try again.
I've got this chipper/vacuum and it ran ok last year but I can't get it to fire up this year. I'm starting it properly but it will not fire. It doesn't seem to be getting spark. I unhooked the plug grounded it and checked for spark. No luck. I even jammed a test light into the plug wire. No...
Ok, I still haven't been able to get this this to work. When I try to start it I can pull it once or twice and on the second or third pull it recoils so hard that it hurts my hand. It's like the timing if way off??
