I just installed a new Geni belt drive...very quiet...still not quiet enough.
I spent 20 bucks on nylon garage door rollers with ball bearings.....what a difference. Before it sounded like an old roller coaster and now it’s in perpetual whisper mode.
Well worth the time. My garage door no...
I thought about bending one but have became obsessed with finding the real deal.
I actually emailed someone at Irwin and they said they will never make the bent nose again. I’m not the smartest guy out there but it seems to me they are loosing a lot of sales. Especially when new old stock is...
Looking to buy Vise-grip 6BN And 9BN bent needle nose Visegrip.
Unfortunately Irwin has no plan produce these ever again, real shame, they are super handy.
If you have a spare 6BN or 9BN you would like to sell please let me know.:rocker:
I have used Advance Autos Wearever brand brake cleaner for years without issue. Recently the price of the wearever brand went up a substantial amount.
Ordered cases of the Oreilly brand. Good price but the product can eat paint. This brake cleaner contains methanol, acetone and toluene...
Sure I can bend up a set but if I did that it still wouldn’t satisfy my obsession. I reached out to Erwin below is the reply:
Hi Chris
Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry to inform you that the locking pliers will not be coming back, those have been completely discontinued and no official...
They work great in my trade for locking onto the head of a bad screw and turning it out. Keeps from scratching the skin underneath. I think I am going to ping Irwin, worse they can say is no.
I saw the $100 price tag....it’s killing me.
A 6 and 9 inch used to be available also.
Is someone from Irwin tools a member? I would like to ask why they were pulled from production and will they ever come back?
I am looking for a replacement pair of Visegrip 4BN locking pliers. They are approx. 4 inches long needle Nose Visegrip with angled jaws. They work great for wrestling out small stripped screws.
They are no longer in production.
Anyone have a pair they may want to sell?
Thanks
Re: My 72" Harbor Freight US General Black toolbox arrived- gotta hide the evidence!
I recently bought a red one and everything is great EXCEPT the wheels. It is horrible to try and steer. I’ve lubed them with top aviation lubricants and did everything I can think of to make them roll better...
Just bought a new H.F., U.S. general 72 inch box. It's very decent for the price.
Only issue so far is the box is a real ***** to turn and maneuver. :shocking:
I inspected the wheels and all turn freely and ensure the castors are grease and turn freely while jacked up.
I have a similar size...
