Could you guys give me a quick hand and direction? I think this hose reel is about 20 years old. It doesn't have any markings on it as to the brand. It has sprung a massive leak on the side. How do I fix this?
I thought the guy who showed it on TikTok was royalty auto service at SEMA event but man I can't find it. I thought it was made of aluminum and went on the bottom of the filter and then punched a hole in it to drain.
I saw a tik Tok video of a tool that went on the bottom of a oil filter, punctured and drained it before taking it off the vehicle. Anybody know what brand it is or where I can find out more about it?
I can't find the video again...
At menards I did find some rubber washers that might do the trick. 1/16" think, 1/4" center hole, 1 1/4" diameter. I also picked up some 1 1/4 fender washers.
You guys crack me up. First off I would like to set your worries aside in the blue can pictured is kerosene. I'm not at liberty to...
I thought about red rtv for a second but as soon as I read the package it stated do not allow it to come in contact with gasoline. Hmmmm. Thinking it might not be my best option to repair a gas can.
Well my original idea was to use Schrader valves from a car. But when those are exposed to gasoline I found out they deteriorate very quickly. So that idea is out. Not all the other cans have holes this big. This one is the worse. But if I find a good solution for this can I will do it to...
Oh no i can't throw anything away. I'll spend more to fix it than to just buy a new better and improved model. That my MO in life. LOL. The bulkhead fitting idea seems doable. I'm off to Home Dipsticks now to see what they have. You will laugh at me when I tell you I did this to all five...
I was using a step bit when this happened and the bit grabbed and I ended up with a hole that is almost 3/4". The vents that I'm using are only about 1/4". I got allot to fill. Also I use this can for gas and kerosene. Are neoprene washers chemical resistant?
Hi everyone,
I recently drilled a hole in my 5-gallon Blitz gas can to add a vent, but unfortunately, I made the hole too big (I know, not my finest moment). I’m looking for advice on how to repair the hole so I can still use the vent without the gas can leaking. I tried adding a washing but...
Yes I have a 2438-20. I have mixed feeling about it. It is the only thing out there like it. If you want to skip the rest my quick answer is yes I would buy it again. The size and speed of the little thing is great. So far the biggest thing I’ve used it for is polishing my aluminum...
Did you ever have any luck finding the bolt size? I'm on the same mission. I would like to be able to use my McGuire's da in conjunction with the Milwaukee polisher.
