    Grandfathers toolbox

Thank you! Absolutely priceless. He was a lifelong mechanic. His dad actually worked as a mechanic for Ford when they had a plant in Dallas, TX. I never got to work on cars with him, so this is the next best for me.

    Grandfathers toolbox

Thank you everyone. I went back out this morning. I can’t find any markings on the bottom box. Not sure if anything is small enough to be hidden behind the homemade tray with the wheels. The top box is a KR-533A

Thank you everyone. I went back out this morning. I can’t find any markings on the bottom box. Not sure if anything is small enough to be hidden behind the homemade tray with the wheels. The top box is a KR-533A, that marking was easy to spot.

    Grandfathers toolbox

I recently was able to get my grandpas toolbox. I know the top is a snapon, but not sure about the bottom box. Anyone have any ideas or can point me in the direction to find out? I’m not going to restore, I just want to know more about it. Thanks in advance!!

Kitchen remodel advice, tips, and strategies sought.

Check out the ikea website. They have a kitchen planner that you can design your kitchen in 3D. I bought all of our kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances from there.

    What your Dad taught you,

My dad has taught me everything from how to be a good dad to how to use a hammer. I remember laying under the astro van they had at the time and him teaching me how to change the shocks. I'm lucky to still be able to call him and ask questions. I was able to learn a lot from his dad too before...

    Sears or Ikea butcher block??

I've got ikea butcher block in my kitchen. I used a couple of cutoffs out in my garage. I love em. They're heavy and as durable as wood counters get.
